Any size container is good for mangroves. This planter is only 2” deep with a 3” wide opening – the perfect size for seven small-sized propagules.

Propagules are only sold by the dozen. You can start them in either fresh or salt water.

If you're using them for fishkeeping, you'll need one mangrove per 10 gallons of water.

If you're potting them, make sure your container will hold water. The roots must be wet at all times. Humidity and air-circulation are necessary for healthy mangrove leaf production.

Mangroves are shipped separately from sea-beans, USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your package is shipped.
